November 7th Mary Wrote

Hello to everyone,

I want to do this but I am not sure I am in the mood so as Mrs. Wendt (the boys writing teacher says) just start and things will come. So if this takes me awhile to spit out what I want to say, please stick with me.

Aaron is still out West, Texas to be exact, has been there for about 2 weeks now shelling corn. I have given up trying to say when he will be home so now my word is he will be home eventually. He went to Texas with the words that I am not a quitter I will work till it is done. Last Thursday, he told me that now they found some more silage to do back in Kansas when they return from Texas. I think he is going to just have to leave because they may continue to find work for him all the way to next harvest.

We are all ready to have him home, he was more anxious back in Aug when he went through some homesick feelings but now I think he is over that and could stay a while more.

I passed my school bus drivers test in October and once again I am an employee at Levy's. I am driving as a substitute in the afternoons. With the boys homeschooling I could not commit to both runs at this time. I am really enjoying it and am on a different run each day unless someone is out for several days in a row. I often don't know till 12 where I will be and I love it. I thrive on variety and this is just what I needed to give me that in my life again.

David is doing well at Tech school again. He has been on 2 over night conferences with the Skills USA organizations, known previously as VICA. The teachers in charge at Upper Bucks Vo Tech see potential in David filling an officer position in the district and are working at leading him in that direction. He has been giving speeches and learning about the organization and what all is involved in that.

Nathan will be trying out for District Orchestra through the Quakertown High School Music Department. This is a new group for Nathan to be working with and it will be interesting to see just where it goes. I really don't know much about this right now.

Samuel finished his final year playing soccer with the Quakertown Christian School team. Win wise they were down there pretty low, but sports is about fun and not winning any way so what's the big deal.

God continues to amaze me with his goodness and faithfulness.

You are all invited to our church for a Youth Worship Musical/Drama - David, Nathan, Samuel, Paul and I are all involved. Sunday Nov. 21 at 6:00 PM. That is Christ Church on the Ridge Road about 1/2 mile from 313 towards the Old Bethlehem Pike. Across the fields in Al's front yard.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, remember Mom has asked for individual families to visit her for Christmas instead of a big get together so call her and set up your date, before her calendar is too full. Mom if I am wrong on this, call me and I will send a correction out immediately.

Have a great holiday season and I still think we should plan to get together in Feb (how does the 26 sound), even though college students will be back at school. Those that can come can come. We will have a great time.

Love and prayers

Mary
