I guess I can write now since I got Bill's letter. Like everyone else, we have been quite busy this fall. Wev'e been doing some painting this fall. We finally covered up the paint that mom put on the hallway going up the steps about 30 years ago. I don't know about that date, but it must be close to 30 years. It still didn't look too bad, but there were some cracks in the walls that we wanted to fix and I could't find spackling that would match, so we decided to paint. It was a real pain trying to go around all the spindles in the banister, but it is almost done.

School is going well. It is a lot of work, but I am enjoying it. The question of what I'm going to do with it is becoming more pressing though. I felt a clear call to go, but I still don't know why. Pray that God will make the next step clear.

The kids have been doing pretty well in school. Both Karalee and Willy are doing most of the school this year with Bob Jones University. It is video taped lessons that we get by way of satalite dish that they can do mostly by themselves. It gives pat more time to focus on Karissa.

Our house has been quiet too the last few weeks... both Earl and Ivy are away right now; Earl in Brazil and Ivy in Canada. It is different with them gone and we miss them, but we will get by.

My work is a bit tenuous right now. The industry has been slow for some time now and we have had to take jobs at very little profit margins in order to get them at all. Since we are part of a huge international coorporation, the men upstairs are starting to pressure us to raise our margins. We are working at it, but it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to shut us down at any time. I think about looking for something else, but with graduation coming up next summer, i would like to hold on at least till then... another item for prayer...
