March 29th Jim Wrote
Happy Spring!
Its been quite eventful in this Rosenberger house since we last wrote. I can't guarantee
I will moan quietly.
Brandon is feeling better with his hip. They transfered him to a Doctor at Shriners hospital.
He is a specialist who does alot of hip arthroscope work. He has alot of bone fragment
in the joint that needs to be cleaned out. It has caused incredible pain and sleepless
nights. The problem with Shriners is they only deal with kids up to 18 years old and he is
21, so they need to approve him to get anything done. That could take 6 weeks. He's not
looking forward to waiting that long. For a 21 year old he shows incredible strength.
Devon just got home from Disney with his Senior class trip. Things went well and they all
had a great time. Now they look forward to planning their trip to the shore for Senior
week. Oregon is coming closer and closer...
J.R. started baseball. He was asked to be in the school Jazz band and invited to be in the
district festival band for all of the Elementary schools in the district. He will soon be ready
to start playing on a drum set. Things at school seem to be going smoothly, I think we are
through the roughest part with his school work. Jim and Brandon built a play house for J.R
and Willie between our houses.
Ashton-Hi! Thats all she wants to write tonight! She usually looks forward to writting her own
piece but her ice cream was calling her. Ashtons dance recital and competition are coming up,
after practicing an entire year it is a welcomed event. She grew out of all of her stock of
summer clothing from last year. We will go broke restocking!
Vicki broke out in a severe case of poison ivy. Apparently it came from the wood stove when
she reloaded it. It was all over her arms neck and face. Things were pretty nasty for a day
or two. Her back has been no better. She had a shot put in it and is getting xrays.
Business has really slowed down. Unfortunatly hair is not a necessity and people cut it out
of the budget..so Phil, you need to make an appointment...
Jims work is still on the edge. For those of you who dont know,he was given 10 days notice that
it was sold as of March 1.Within the first week he lost alot money. We need to pay an extra
$100 a week for insurance, they will soon cut his hours way down. He cant afford to stay, but he cant
afford to leave. Right now we need to wait it out until Brandons surgery is over. With a preexisting
condition it puts us in a position of not having coverage. Time will tell where he will be till the next time..
See everyone at Easter, take a little time to enjoy the view..
