March 16th Alan Wrote

I HATE WINTER, I HATE WINTER, I HATE WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was one of those days I dislike my job. The alarm went off at 4:30 to see what the weather was doing. I don’t know why because no matter what the weather was doing at that time, no matter what is decided about having school, half of the people in the district think it was the wrong decision. If we have school the stay at home parents say, “ What are you idiots thinking, you are putting my child in danger on the roads in a storm”. If we cancel school the working parents says, “What are you idiots thinking, who am I going to get to baby-sit on such short notice”. When five thousand people call me an idiot (when it isn’t even my decision) I begin to believe them.

Sorry for the interruption, I just spent the last hour calling drivers to say there would be a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning. (Don’t worry people will call me an idiot for that too.)

11:00 Back to my ranting… Well after being an idiot all day the last bus got in at 6:00 and I went home to a WONDERFULL woman who hasn’t call me an idiot for a while.

Now to the part I wrote yesterday:

Wow how time flies! It seems like I just sent my last email yesterday. (O that’s right, Jo sent my last one.)

We got a wonderful surprise on Thursday night! I was talking with Jeff on the computer and he said, “I think I’m throwing some things in the car and heading south”. We didn’t think he would be home for spring break. Regular classes were done the 4th but he had a test in his grad course this week and his MAJOR PROJECT was due the 10th. He decided he just had to get away for a few days. Classes start again the 16th. Graduation is set for May 22 and we have a party scheduled for May 30. Invitations will be coming.

Jeff found out he did not get the requested funding for grad school’s fall semester. Therefore he will be completing his grad work and have his Master’s Degree in Computer Science by December rather than extending it till May 05. Does anyone have a computer-programming job for him next January?

For those of you who haven’t seen the Rosenberger Web Site lately there is a “cutest baby” competition going on. When I last checked both Kaitlyn & Joshua had over 3 million votes apiece. We need YOUR vote to break the tie.

We were ready for Easter at our house in both January and February but no one showed up. Well, DON’T come in March you’re not invited!

Sorry for the ranting at the beginning, I really do love my job.

See you Sunday,

Al Rosenberger
