Mom Wrote,
Psalms 133:1 - How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.
Do you remember what we were doing Labor Day weekend 10 years ago?
I was
leaving the Swamps of Milford township which was home to me for 60+ years.
Moving to the Summit St address in Franconia township. I am not sorry that
I made the move. I met many new friends; some have already left this
earthly home. In my hall only 5 of us moved in 10 years ago.
I am 10 years older and have really slowed down. My brain lets me forget,
eyes don't see as well, ears still let me hear all I need to hear.
Sometimes my neck and back are stiff and slow to turn. You really don't
want to hear about my many trips to the bathroom; one of the greatest
inventions of my time is the flush toilet.
The construction goes on and on; it started almost 2 years ago. We now have
a beautiful new entrance and a spacious auditorium. Phase 2 will take
another year, more or less. I enjoy showing off our new spaces.
Email is working fine; keep up the good work that was started. To brag
about all my children would fill too many pages so I will not mention any
names. Thank-you, everyone.
What a family of writers you have become. I
still enjoy your visits and phone calls. Sometimes I wonder how I could
feel a little more connected to the grandchildren?
Thanks to all of you who have made the last 10 years one of the best periods
of my life. I love my independence. I love my family, I love my church,
but above all I love my God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who will make it
possible to reach an even higher summit. A home in heaven that is being
prepared for me when my life here is ended.
God is Love, and His Love neverfails.
