Hi all :
i gess its mi turn two rite. tis is going two b a long proces cinse i cant spel rite or tipe

Bill decided i should get in the hot seat and start typing if this letter was ever going to get typed. He types one finger at a time. We could be sitting here all day. Yes, I'll be the secretary taking the dictation. Well, here goes.......................um....He likes the chair I gave up .......z.z.z.z. Oh, we're starting...Yesterday, Bill picked a basket of apricots. Now it's my turn to decide what to do with them. Oh, now Bill's telling me i should use the apricots to make a dessert for next weekend. Anyone have any suggestions or recipes for using up these apricots, other than pie and canning them? We've also been picking blueberries and beans this week. Mr. Groundhog found his way under our fence and got our pickle plants. Will we again this year be making pickleless picalilli? Time will tell.

We've had kathy's dad and 8 year old brother here visiting these past two weeks. They just left to go back to Iowa. The timing was good for him because we had our church picnic and he got to see a lot of people he was planning to visit while he was here. Derek, who is spending the summer working at Messiah College, has been home a few times this summer. He went to Ricketts Glen with us camping and Oh ..how precious the time was together. We could tell how much Melissa missed having her brother around. She took every opportunity to talk and spend time with him. Even left work early to come up to Ricketts Glen. She works as a busgirl(busboy)at a family restaurant in Emmaus 5 nights a week. Alana spends most of her time working at Dorney Park or with her boyfriend Brad. They've viisted a number of affilate parks free with their Dorney connection, from New Jersey to Ohio.

I've been putting in some extra hours at the hospital this past month. This year's V.B.S. week was a little different this year for me. I usually teach 4th grade but this year because of our Ricketts Glen trip, I was an assistant for two days in the 6th grade. It certainly didn't involve near the amount of preparation I was used to. It was virtualy none. I did learn how to make lentil stew and share it over a tripod fire with bisquick flat cakes made by Karalee Rosenberger and Emily Rush.

Bill feels his arm got a good workout waxing his truck this past Saturday its sure to rain on Monday.

Anyway we'll see you next weekend.

LOVE YA ALL

Bill & Kathy
