I'm so glad Alan got this started -- Thanks -- Anyway, as you all know by now, I'm going to be a grammaw (not sure if that needs the "w" -- comments welcome) in October!! Very exciting indeed! It's my latest bragging rights and since Alan said it was okay to brag . . . Jen and baby are doing fine, and I assume Jason's enjoying his bragging rights too :). He's settled into a new job and is very happy with it -- I can't believe Rosenberger weekend is only 2 weeks away! Mary's working hard on food lists and I'm sure you'll be hearing from her if you haven't already.

I'm still looking for that elusive second part-time job (haven't gotten desperate enough for Burger King). Many social workers with years of experience have gotten laid off due to government funding cuts, so social services employers can afford to be picky and are requiring experience in many cases. My rational side is telling me it's not such a good time to be breaking into a new field and I must be patient and keep trying. Emotionally, I'm trying to stay positive. The job I have with Holy Family Manor nursing home is WONDERFUL! I've discovered I LOVE working with old people!
