Len Pawlowski started with the company in April of 2003. A former Philadelphia native, Len graduated from Temple University in 1992 and has worked for leading organizations both large and small. Just prior to joining the Levy team, he worked as a Logistics Specialist in the supply-chain division of ExxonMobil.

Len firmly believes that a successful manager achieves results through open communication and consistency. He sets high standards for his staff of professional drivers, encouraging them to create a positive and safe environment on the bus. He reminds them that being a School Bus Driver is one of the most important keys to the success of a child’s day.

Len says that overall, the most rewarding aspect of working at Levy School Bus Company is the people who work at Levy’s. He respects their strong sense of community and enjoys how everyone is good-hearted and down-to-earth. It’s like one big family.

In January 2023 Len advanced to the position of Operations Manager.

Consultant to Operations (Operations Manager – Emeritus)

Al Rosenberger started with the company while still in high school as our Oil Checker/Fueler. He started at 5:30am and checked the fluid levels in all vehicles before attending High School for the day. After school he returned and fueled the buses as they returned from their routes.

After finishing High School, Al worked full time in the shop as a mechanic doing all aspects of repair work on the vehicles. Al worked his way up through various shop positions, becoming Maintenance/Parts Manager in the early 80’s.

With the introduction of computers and routing software to the company, Al moved into the office and became Terminal Manager/Dispatcher in late 1986. During the spring and summer of 1987 Al setup and used Versatrans Routing Solutions software to prepare the bus routes for the 1987-88 school year and each school year thereafter.

In 1995 Al filled a vacancy in the Main Office as Operations Manager. Since 1995 he has overseen the conversion from a “Paper/Pencil” to a “Monitor/Keyboard” business office. He guided the addition of QuickBooks Financial software, Microsoft Office software, TripTracker software and Fleetvision vehicle maintenance software, going from a single computer to a fifteen computer, Client/Server network.

In January 2023, after 47 years with the company, Al decided to step back from the day-to-day operations. He is still working half days from “a beach somewhere”, or wherever his travels take him.
